Stanley/Stella is an ethical, sustainable, and organic clothing brand. Founded in 2012 in Belgium, they produce blank clothing “canvas” ready for your designs.

They imagined their business as a collaboration with distributors worldwide who would personalize their clothes according to the customer’s wishes. As part of their DNA, they state durability, quality, and comfort, so all clothes are made of 100% organic cotton and slightly less recycled polyester, due to the circular economy.

PRINTING PROCESS

To create this organic custom women’s T-shirt we use a printing method called direct-to-garment (DTG). This is a method of printing designs or images directly onto garments using specialized inkjet printers.

This printing method is similar to printing on paper. The desired design is sent to the DTG printer, where the printer reads the design file and interprets the placement, size, and colors of the image. The printer then uses this information to print the design onto the garment in the correct location and size.

The water-based ink used in the process absorbs the fibers of the clothes, resulting in a vibrant and long-lasting print. The print resolution is very high and it is able to print full-color images with gradients and photographic elements.
